AP Rentals x Construction Innovation EXPO 2019 highlights
Between 17 and 20 Dec 2019, AP Rentals participated in the four-day “Construction Innovation EXPO” held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The EXPO is a major event co-organised by the Development Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Centre of Science and Technology Industrial Development under the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China and the Hong Kong Construction Industry Council. Its aim is to provide a platform for industry players to share knowledge and build business ties, thereby drive a new era in which the construction industry can thrive.
Echoing the theme of "Innovation" of the tradeshow, AP Rentals displayed for the first time a series of smart system-empowered machinery, including the Smart System in mobile Electricity (SSME) and the Smart Light Tower. Such smart systems can effectively reduce fuel consumption, hence save costs for users. They also operate more quietly and with less carbon emissions. Technicians can control remotely and monitor real-time the machines in action, for suitable repair and maintenance to be carried out in time, and help enhance productivity.

Two sets of spider crane – UR-W295C and UR-W376C – were also displayed for visitors to understand their characteristics – agile, compact, powerful, and clean thus friendly to the environment.

AP Rentals also gave seminars during the show at its booth, introducing the latest SSME power supply technology and the spider crane. Actual application scenarios and experience were discussed and shared with attendees that they could come to appreciate the benefits of these products.
